What types of PPE does Armortex Offer?
Protective Clothing
Protective clothing is a type of PPE (personal protective equipment). It provides protection for workers when other measures can not completely eliminate or minimize risks to a worker's safety.
Our protective clothing is made with one of the strongest cut-resistant materials, High-Performance Polyethylene (HPPE). It delivers cut protection which reaches EN388 6.2-16 level 4, EN388 6.3-16 level E, and ASTM F2992 level A6. Moreover, puncture resistance of EN388 6.5-16 level 4 can be achieved as well.
※ EN388 is the most recognized test standard to measure the performance of industrial protective products.
Protective Gloves
Protective gloves are needed to prevent injuries to the hands and to comply with the hazard control regulation. If all approaches fail to reduce the risk to a sufficient degree, the worker must wear protective gloves.
Armortex team offers two kinds of protective gloves that are cut-resistant and fire-resistant. Our Cut-resistant gloves are made with High-Performance Polyethylene (HPPE) and comply with the EN388 industrial protection test standard. On the other hand, Flame retardant gloves are Kevlar-based fabric laminated with Aluminum Foil and provide heat isolation (EN-367 test standard compliant) to protect wearers from thermal injuries.
