2024 Taiwan Design Expo Co-Creates Tainan's 400th Anniversary
The "2024 Taiwan Design Expo" officially launched in Tainan on October 26! With nine major themed exhibitions and five satellite exhibitions, the entire city comes together to envision "Tainan: The Next 400." Co-organized by Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Tainan City Government, the opening ceremony took place today (25th) at Tainan Art Museum Hall #2. Minister of Economic Affairs Chih-hui Kuo and Tainan Mayor Wei-che Huang attended the event, joined by local "hidden champions," major technology companies, consumer lifestyle industry representatives, and over a hundred designers, all gathered to inaugurate the 2024 Taiwan Design Expo.

The "2024 Taiwan Design Exhibition" is jointly organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Tainan City Government. The opening ceremony will be held on October 25th at the Tainan Art Museum Hall 2. Minister of Economic Affairs Kuo Chi-hui and Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe attended! Emphasizing "biobased materials" that replace petrochemical inputs, displaying five types of renewable/recycled materials. These materials correspond to five biobased sources: sugarcane, oyster shell, plant seeds (from non-edible plant oils), coffee grounds, and rubber trees.
