What is Polyimide Fiber (PI Fiber)?
Polyimide Fiber (abbreviated PI Fiber) provides excellent mechanical properties, such as fire retardant, acid, anti-oxidation, and is thermally stable up to approximately 350°C.
Main Functions
Fire retardant
The LOI (Limited oxygen index) of Polyimide Fiber (PI Fiber) falls between 32-38% and will directly carbonize without melting.
High Thermal Stability
Polyimide Fiber (PI Fiber) performs well while being used between 260 to 300 degrees Celsius. Its carbonization temperature is up to 567 degrees Celsius and will not easily deform.
High Chemical Stability
Polyimide Fiber (PI Fiber) performs great stability against UV light, anti-oxidation. PI Fiber can maintain its performance in extreme environments.
Anti-Bacteria
Polyimide Fiber (PI Fiber) provides durable Anti-bacteria properties.
OEKO-TEX Certified
Polyimide Fiber (PI Fiber) passes OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class 1.
