Nam Liong Global Corporation is devoted to developing eco-friendly products. In order to lessen the dependence on crude oil and reduce CO2 emissions, bio-based raw materials, such as sugarcane, oyster shell powder, plant oil, and so on, are used to make a series of bio-based sponges, named BIO-II.
Nam Liong BIO-II™ Bio-based Rubber Sponge is 100% neoprene free but with the good performance of the ordinary neoprene rubber sponge, such as the warm-keeping, weather durability, and buffer. BIO-II Rubber Sponge is suitable for diving suits, surfing suits, bags, shoes, medical/sports supports, and so on.
With a great reduction for about 42% of regular CR sponges in GHG (Greenhouse Gas) emissions and lower dependence on petroleum, our BIO- II rubbers are made from natural rubber trees. The natural rubbers used for BIO-II are certified by FSC™ with License Code: FSC™ C181797, and the other raw materials are made throughout the circular economy in both pre- & post-consumer stages of LCA (Life Cycle Assessment), thus expressing Nam Liong's core value.
