2024 Taiwan Design Expo Co-Creates Tainan's 400th Anniversary
26 Oct, 2024The "2024 Taiwan Design Expo" officially launched in Tainan on October 26! With nine major themed exhibitions and five satellite exhibitions, the entire city comes together to envision "Tainan: The Next 400." Co-organized by Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Tainan City Government, the opening ceremony took place today (25th) at Tainan Art Museum Hall #2. Minister of Economic Affairs Chih-hui Kuo and Tainan Mayor Wei-che Huang attended the event, joined by local "hidden champions," major technology companies, consumer lifestyle industry representatives, and over a hundred designers, all gathered to inaugurate the 2024 Taiwan Design Expo.

02 May, 2024NamLiong Global and the Tainan City Government Fire Bureau signed a memorandum of cooperation in 2023 to launch a groundbreaking new product, the "Anti-Stab and Cut Safety Protective Vest," the first of its kind in Taiwan. Through the funding provided by philanthropists from the community, 64 of these vests have been donated to be used by 64 senior members across 8 advanced rescue teams in the Tainan area. It is anticipated that by the end of June, all 64 vests will be distributed, with each team member receiving one.
