Aliphatic TPU film is different from general aromatic TPU, which has excellent resistance to UV radiation and anti-yellowing characteristics. It also has good light transmission, mechanical strength, wear resistance and a wide range of parameters in processing.
Aliphatic TPU is often used in aerostats, airships, buoyant aerial vehicles, aviation, medical, car clothing, and other fields that require high yellowing resistance.
Compared with PU film, except for the non-solvent producing process, the TPU film has better elasticity, water resistance, abrasion resistance, tear resistance, and anti-yellowing properties. It is also less polluting in the process than PVC. In the disposal of finished products, in addition to burning no toxic gas, it will not cause public hazards
However, during the processing and storage of TPU, it will also be affected by climate, light, heat, and the environment or other external factors, which will reduce its physical properties and will cause yellowing, deterioration, or aging, and eventually reduce the physical properties. As it, the storage environment is very important.
In order to reduce the impact on product properties by the environmental effects, Nam Liong has developed aliphatic TPU for products requiring high stability of physical properties, such as aerostats, airships, shoe materials, windbreak clothing, leather lamination, backpacks, etc. After lamination, it is not easy to be affected by environmental factors, yellowing, and shorten shelf life.
Our Aliphatic TPU film has up to 4.5-grade anti-yellowing quality tested by ASTM G155-21 (natural light simulation) used to perform accelerated aging.
Specifications and thickness can be adjusted according to customer needs. Currently, there are two colors: translucent and matt white, and it can also be made according to your needs.
