ASC is suitable for electronic component packaging, PCBA cushioning, industrial equipment pads, workbench mats, and protective materials used in static-control environments. When an application requires cushioning, flame resistance, oil resistance, and static dissipative performance, ASC is more suitable than general-purpose rubber foam.
General CR rubber foam is usually selected for flame resistance, oil resistance, weather resistance, and cushioning. ASC adds static dissipative performance to CR rubber foam, with surface resistance of approximately 10⁵–10⁹ Ω, helping reduce static charge accumulation and ESD risk.
Choose ASC when the application requires flame resistance, oil resistance, rebound, and the durability of rubber foam. Choose AS-EVA when lightweight cushioning, packaging inserts, cost efficiency, or easy secondary fabrication is the priority.
ASC is supplied in sheet form and can be cut, laminated, or converted into pads, cushioning parts, work mats, and packaging protection materials. The final processing method depends on thickness, size, tolerance, and the intended application environment.
